Jumping out the window, Aiel struggled at first with the weight of his brother on his arms, then the heat from the house created an updraft and he found it easier to hold his brother. The two glided in circles while Jules joined them.
"Jules.” Aiel said, getting his younger brother's attention, "Go to the woods behind the house, Dee and I'll be there in a bit."
"W-what? No!" The youngest brother exclaimed, gliding in sync with his eldest sibling.
"Go. We'll join ya in a bit!"
The two brothers looked at each other in the eyes, then Jules broke contact and flew off towards the woods behind the house, carrying Faye in his arms.
Aiel used the last of the air under his wings to glide into the center of the crowd where their parents had been not two minutes previously.
"Monster!" A voice shouted, and Aiel let go of his brother and looked the man in the eye.

The little girl opened her eyes quickly. A sound had woken her up, and she looked around in attempt to spot it. She tilted her head as she listened intently in the dark room, then saw the shadow of her twin brother who had dropped from his top bunk onto the floor.
"Jules, what are you doing?" She asked.
"I heard voices." Jules said, shaking his pink hair out of his face and looking at his near-identical twin with his golden eyes.
"Do you think Evangeline's here?" Faye asked, looking at him with her own matching yellow eyes.
"Maybe," he said. "Get up! Let's go look~" He smiled at her as she got out of bed, nervously playing with the hems of her sleeves on her nightdress
"I hope it's Evangeline! She's always so nice to us, Kae." She said, pulling on her slippers and walking out of the room, only to see two tall figures in front of their bedro
